Ellen Davis was born in Germany in 1929. Sent to Britain by her parents on the Kindertransport, she was adopted by a Swansea couple, and went on to make her home there. Ellen was determined to tell the story of her family’s experiences under the Nazis, and their ultimate fate. She gave many interviews about her life and spoke frequently to classes of schoolchildren. She died in 2026.
