Nia Williams
Nia Williams is a freelance writer and musician, born in Cardiff and now based in Oxford. Her published fiction includes short fiction and six novels. A seventh novel, Touched, was published in 2021. Several of her short stories have been broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and Radio Wales, and one of her novels, Persons Living or Dead, was shortlisted for the Wales Book of the Year. Nia founded and runs a theatre company, Three Chairs and a Hat, and her musicals and spoken-word theatre have been featured at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, live and digital, and in theatres across the south of England. She also runs a publishing platform, Gurning Gnome, which hosted a video literary festival during the 2020 pandemic. Nia also works as a musical director, workshop-leader and pianist.
