A Pond for All Eels
How vibernum clatters primrose the heron greys spring
hangs like a lamp giving off gloom
how the twigs lurch at each crotch as bodies float on the wings
of their macs
how eels electric transcutaneously, motor
neurons
how sparrows embroider decisions in brown not saying a word
braille bushes
I want to make room for the body for its speechless want to be
clattered
I want to pretend that
a day was a night, blame
the breeze
some eels emit a weak pulse
to navigate, find prey, melt icebergs
linger in a set of eyes
I want to be a stream discover the shallows
where duckweed congeals
green and dark eyes
bloat spring, hum bells
kill time.
