The poems in this pamphlet evolved from responses to sounds created by Mina Loy in her Lunar Baedeker poems. Loy (1882-1966) was an artist, poet, playwright, novelist, and both a Futurist and a Christian Scientist. Her literary admirers included Eliot, Pound, Bunting, Stein and William Carlos Williams.
