Cath Drake | The Climate of Change Poetry Challenge & Workshops (Online)

After it’s success in June/July, this is the second round of The Climate of Change Poetry Challenge in 2022. This Challenge seeks to create a positive community to help us all think and write in fresh, deeper ways about the climate and environmental crisis. This Challenge flows thematically from the first – it’s not a repeat – there’s new assignments,  content and guest poets! It's a sustained period of creative inquiry and expression to make and share new poems about a subject that really matters. Stretch your creative muscle. Open to poets writing in English in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Israel, Finland, Denmark, Spain, Holland, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland. Participants are sent regular poetry assignments and commit to writing two draft poems a week over a month. You can also join an optional private Facebook group to share and comment on each others poems. There will also be a warm-up assignment and celebratory reading. Guest poets include Tishani Doshi, Clare Pollard, Karen McCarthy Woolf, Kate Potts. Find out more and join the Challenge: Join the Climate of Change Challenge Oct/Nov.   The Challenge is free / small donation, if possible - we sold out last time so sign up before it fills up! There are also subsidised live online workshops for limited numbers:
