Katrina Naomi & Suzannah Evans | Gladfest 2022

In the past few years poet Katrina Naomi moved from London to Cornwall, and her latest collection was written in the wake of moving into a new culture, geography, and community. Poet Suzannah Evans didn’t move in quite the same way, remaining in Sheffield, but she did continue to imagine, think and write about areas that are new and strange to many of us: space, science, technology and near-futures. Join two of the UK’s most exciting poets as they discuss how writing can take us to new spaces – and help us understand them when we get there. Katrina is the winner of the 2021 Keats-Shelley Prize and has published two collections for Seren, The Way the Crocodile Taught Me (2016) and Wild Persistence (2020). Tickets: £10. For further information and to book visit: www.gladstoneslibrary.org/events
