Katrina Naomi, Workshop: How I Became a Poet | Causley Festival of Arts and Literature

Katrina Naomi went from being expelled from school at 15, thinking poetry was elitist and boring, to becoming a prize-winning poet. Katrina thinks now poetry can be for everyone. So what's changed? How did she become a poet? Katrina will be talking about her writing journey and life, plus a Q&A. Katrina has published two collections for Seren, The Way the Crocodile Taught Me (2016) and Wild Persistence (2020) and her recent work has been broadcast on Radio 4’s Front Row, Poetry Please, BBC TV Spotlight and on Poems on the Underground. Ticket: Pay what you can. Suggested ticket price (which can be paid as a donation): £5. For further information and to book visit: www.thelittleboxoffice.com For further details of the festival visit: www.causleytrust.org
