'Poetry, Fiction and States of mind' 

A talk, reading and discussion with award-winning novelist, poet and translator Christopher Meredith, whose groud breaking first novel, Shifts, is regarded as a modern classic. 

Chris has broadcast on radio and TV and given readings and talks all round Britain as well as in the Czech Republic, Egypt, Estonia, France, Germany, Finland, Ireland, Slovenia and the USA. He has been a steelworker, a schoolteacher and a university professor and now writes full time. His latest novel is The Book of Idiots. Latest poetry collection: Air Histories. Most recently he published a collection of short stories called Brief Lives. He was born and brought up in Tredegar and lives in Brecon.
