Independent Voices: Poetry live from Caroline Smith, Ted Hughes Award shortlisted author of The Immigration Handbook (Seren 2016), Rory Waterman, author of Brexit Day on the Balmoral Estate and whose new book is Sarajevo Roses, and Nicholas Murray, whose Swiftian verse satire A Dog’s Brexit also appeared this year. They are joined by readers Sarah Chatwin, Mark Unwin and Jean Woollard who will present some classic poems that challenge society with an independent voice.
