Company of Words is teaming up with Sherman 5 for this in person literary Open Mic featuring guest the legendary Peter Finch, hosted by artist Alix Edwards. Share your poems, monologues, short scripts and prose in a warm, welcoming environment in the fabulous setting of the Sherman foyer. Peter Finch is one of Wales most established poets, spoken word pioneers and travel writers. The second of two Poetry Workshops led by Cath Drake this Winter. How do poems lure you into their grip until you’re in much deeper than you imagined? They can make you believe in a whole world with its own rules where places, characters and things may seem impossible yet come across more real than anything.
