On Wednesday 28th September, join us at Kellogg College Oxford to celebrate the launch of Clare Morgan’s new short story collection Scar Tissue. Clare will be discussing her work and reading from the book. Refreshments are provided and there will be a chance to buy signed copies. A new edition of Clare’s earlier collection An Affair of the Heart will also be available. All welcome but registration is essential. Curated and hosted by poet Kim Moore the contemporary poetry reading series ‘Go to the poets, they will speak to thee’ is running throughout 2022, This month the guest poet is Hannah Hodgson whose debut collection 163 Days (Seren, 2022) examines the clash between the personal and the institutional, telling the story of a young person’s lengthy hospital stay. Kim Moore has published two collections for Seren, The Art of Falling (2015) and All the Men I Never Married (2021). Paul Henry has published eight collections with Seren, including As If To Sing (2022), Boy Running (2015) and The Brittle Sea: New & Selected Poems (2010).
