A very special event in which Tony Curtis and his special guests, read from the incredible poetry anthology Where the Birds Sing our Names published by Seren at the end of last year in aid of Tŷ Hafan children's hospice. An illustrated talk on the sacred springs, holy wells and spas of Wales, with photographer and writer, Phil Cope.  Phil will offer a brief illustrated introduction to the world of wellsprings, their origins, their cultures, and a few of their fascinating tales, followed by a closer look at the wells within Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan, alongside an assessment of the threats to and the state of our wellsprings sites today, leaving space at the end for comments and contributions, questions and complaints.
