Join Patrick McGuinness, Professor of French and Comparative Literature at St Anne’s College Oxford, for a live webinar followed by a Q&A about his new book, Real Oxford. In this new addition to the Seren Real Series, Patrick McGuinness shows that there’s more than dreaming spires and bicycles to the city of Oxford. The grand buildings of the university are here, but he also charts a personal history of the place which radiates into the suburbs and into the everyday of people’s lives, past and present. This event is free but you must register your interest on at www.st-annes.ox.ac.uk.
