Vernon Hopkins will be signing copies of Just Help Yourself in Howells Newsagents, Porth, as part of the town's Christmas  Event. In Just Help Yourself, Hopkins details how his band, The Squires, set Tom Jones on the road to stardom. His authentic narrative is a revealing look at the highs and lows of the music business, of London in the allegedly Swinging Sixties and full of gritty detail about life in Pontypridd and on the road.
