Paul Henry, Eric Ngalle Charles & Hilary Llewellyn-Williams | Seren Showcase, Cheltenham Poetry Festival

Join three amazing Seren poets at the Cheltenham Festival. Paul Henry has published eight collections with Seren, including As If To Sing  (2022), Boy Running (2015) and The Brittle Sea: New & Selected Poems (2010). He has also collaborated with Stornaway frontman Brian Briggs in the cross artform collaboration The Glass Aisle (2018). His work has been widely anthologised and translated.  Born in Cameroon, Eric Ngalle Charles arrived in Wales as a near-penniless migrant, after being trafficked to Russia by a criminal gang. He has remade his life as a poet/writer and dazzling performer of his own work and his debut poetry collection Homelands was published earlier this year. Hilary Llewellyn-Williams has written poetry most of her life. She has been a Seren poety since 1987 and is one of the most renowned poets of her generation in Wales. The Little Hours: New and Selected Poems (Seren 2022) features new work and poems from her earliest collections. There will also be an Open Mic. Tickets: £7/£10. For futher information and to book visit: www.ticketsource.co.uk/cheltenhampoetryfestival
