The Bramble King by Catherine Fisher includes poems on imaginary planets and princes, on the summer solstice, on drawing, on a glass shop and a clockwork crow: rich tales with imaginative twists and unexpected characters. 

The Estate Agent’s Daughter by Rhian Edwards is acute and wryly observed, the poems step forth with a confident tone, touching on the personal and the public, encapsulating a woman’s tribulations in the 21st century. 

In We Could Be Anywhere By Now Katherine Stansfield brings us poems about placement and displacement full of both wry comedy and uneasy tension. These poems delight in the off-key, the overheard, and the comedy and pathos of everyday life.
