Launch of Peter Finch’s Collected Poems

For over 50 years Peter Finch has been at the cutting edge of contemporary poetry. His new two volume Collected Poems, comprising 500 pages each, cement his reputation as one of Britain’s leading poets.

At 7pm on Tuesday 17th May, join us to celebrate Finch’s remarkable career and the publication of these landmark volumes. The event is taking place in person at Jury’s Inn (formerly the Park Hotel) in Cardiff, and will also be streamed online on amam.cymru. 

Editor Andrew Taylor will open the event by introducing the books; Grahame Davies will give a brief insight into Peter’s significance in the canon of British poetry and the avant-garde; and Peter will be in conversation with Ifor Thomas.
