First Thursday with Ross Cogan & Dan Tyte

Come along for July’s First Thursday, an evening of new poetry and fiction.

Special guests Ross Cogan and Dan Tyte will kick off the evening with readings from their new books: Ross Cogan will read a selection of poems from his new poetry collection Bragr (meaning ‘poetry’ in Old Norse), in which myths are re-imagined for the modern age, with the earth and the environment as real and pressing concerns; Dan Tyte will read an extract from his novel The Offline Project, in which an internet-obsessed young man uproots himself in pursuit of something outside the saturation of data.

After the guest readings we will have the Open Mic – everyone is invited to read a poem, or a page or prose.

Entry fee: £3 (redeemable against purchase of any book)
