Cath Drake | Believe in a World, Dive Into Poetry Reading And Writing Workshop
The second of two Poetry Workshops led by Cath Drake this Winter. How do poems lure you into their grip until you’re in much deeper than you imagined? They can make you believe in a whole world with its own rules where places, characters and things may seem impossible yet come across more real than anything. In the first hour we’ll discuss an inspiring themed batch of poems and will look in depth at the poems and poetic techniques with expert guidance. Then, after a short break, we’ll write together inspired by the poems and share our writing. These workshops are designed to help you develop a regular poetry reading and writing practice for those relatively new to poetry – but those who have been writing for a while will also find poems to enjoy and rich poetry prompts. Cost for both sessions £50/One session £27. For further information and to book visit: www.cathdrake.com
