Bethany Pope | Pighog Poetry

Pighog is back for the Autumn season starting with a Sestina & Sonnet Special. Featured poets are Bethany Pope, Robert Hamberger and Christina Thatcher. Bethany is an LBA winning author, and a finalist for the Faulkner-Wisdom Awards, the Cinnamon Press Novel competition, and the Ink, Sweat and Tears poetry commission. Her debut novel, Masque (Seren 2016) is a richly gothic re-telling of Gaston Leroux's phantom of the opera.  The evening will also feature
Plus the always popular Pighog Open Mic (2 minute slots each). Going for over ten years, Pighog is one of the longest-running live poetry nights in Brighton. If you've just started writing poetry or have some poems that have been kicking around that no-one has heard before, come and try them out on the very friendly Pighog audience.  £5 entry (£3 for open mic poets).
