Peter Jones

Peter Jones was born 1952 in Tremadog, Gwynedd. During the 1970s he worked as a letter-cutter in the Jonah Jones workshop. He worked as an editor in BBC Monitoring in Reading for 21 years, specialising in Eastern Europe and the Middle East, and also worked on secondment at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office as an analyst, 1997-99. He has contributed to BBC Radio Cymru, S4C and various Welsh publications for 37 years, commenting on the former Yugoslavia and the Middle East. He is the author of Jonah Jones: An Artist’s Life and the editor of Dear Mona: Letters from a Conscientious Objector.
