Paul Clements

Paul Clements is a contributing editor to Fodor’s Ireland and to Insight Guide Ireland. He has written travel articles about New York, Venice, Croatia and London as well as many parts of the south of France and Ireland. His work has been published in the Irish Times, Irish Examiner, Escape travel magazine, Irish News and the Belfast News Letter.

Paul has published widely about the travel writer, Jan Morris. He has written a critical study of her work published by the University of Wales Press in 1998 in the ‘Writers of Wales’ series. In 2006 he edited a Festschrift to mark her 80th birthday. This was published by Seren and was chosen by the Observer as Paperback of the Week.

His reviews, profiles and interviews with Jan Morris have been published in a variety of journals and magazines including The Times Literary Supplement, the Observer, Books in Canada, Planet, the Welsh Internationalist, Press Gazette and the Book and Magazine Collector.
