Owen Morgan is a restauranteur from south Wales. Together with his brother Tom Morgan, he founded the first Bar 44 restaurant in 2002, the two having fallen in love with Spanish food, drink and culture whilst growing up in Cowbridge. Built on a desire to bring their favourite tapas dishes and a slice of modern Spanish culture to the UK, the Bar 44 group has grown into one of the leading Spanish hospitality companies in Britain. Bar 44 now imports its own brand olives and sherry and runs educational food and drink tours for private individuals, as well as Bar 44 online cookalongs. Owen is an international Sherry Educator and was a winner of Imbibe Restaurant Personality of the Year 2018.
