Herbert Williams

Herbert Williams (1932–2020) was a writer of poetry, fiction, biography, TV and radio scripts. He was awarded a Hawthornden Poetry Fellowship in 1992 and won the Rhys Davies Short Story Competition in 1995. Herbert was a Fellow of the Welsh Academy, a member of the Society of Authors, and for a time, was the chair of the Welsh Union of Writers.
