My Family and Other Superheroes author, Jonathan Edwards, has been invited to take part in the ‘Walking Cities’ exchange, which will see him trade places with an Indian counterpart in Kolkata in February. Jonathan Edwards has been awarded the Costa Poetry Award for his debut collection My Family and Other Superheroes. The Costa Book Awards honour some of the most outstanding books of the year written by authors based in the UK and Ireland. There are five categories - First Novel, Novel, Biography, Poetry and Children’s Book. Following a successful first year, Seren will once again be hosting a pop up bookshop. This year, the shop will be located in Cardiff’s cultural hub, Chapter Arts Centre. The shop will be launching on 6th December, as part of small business Saturday, a nationwide campaign which aims to highlight small business success and encourages consumers to ‘shop local’ and support small businesses in their communities.
